Robert Clark

Robert ClarkProfessor Robert Clark is an Associate Professor of Law within the Law School, University College Dublin.

He was called to the Irish Bar in 1987 and since 1999 he has been a consultant with Arthur Cox where he specialises in Intellectual Property and Information Technology issues, advising on a broad range of commercial matters.

He is the Irish national representative on the European Commission's Copyright Experts Group and at national level is the Chairperson of the Copyright Association of Ireland, and is a member of the Patent Office Users Council and the Internet Advisory Board.

Robert's publications include 'Irish Copyright and Design Law' and the second edition of 'Intellectual Property Law in Ireland', written with Shane Smyth, was published earlier this year. He is currently writing a book on Information Law and Data Protection.
